SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS

1. Online Application
2. Official Transcripts: Submit one official transcript from each academic institution attended through Dec. 2023. High school students: Transcripts should include class rank, class size, and GPA if available. Undergraduates: Submit high school and undergraduate transcripts. Graduates: Submit undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
3. Letter of Verification: Submit a letter of verification from the Registrar's office to certify enrollment to an accredited institution with good academic standing. 
4. Letters of Recommendation:  Submit the names and email addresses of 2 references (teachers, professors or educational administrators) who can provide a letter of recommendation.
5. Essay: Submit an original essay of 200-450 words about a personal experience which demonstrated or generated pride in your Italian heritage.

No exceptions will be made. The IAWI takes no responsibility for incomplete or late applications.

Applications are screened by IAWI scholarship committee. Final selection is made by IAWI Board Members and scholarship committee. The scholarship recipient will be notified by March 1, 2025. Monetary awards are presented directly to the student’s academic institutions in accordance with eligibility requirements.

Winner(s) should try to be present where the scholarship awards will be presented (whether in person or virtually).
