The Italian American Women of Iowa (IAWI) are excited to share our traditions and heritage with the next generation of ladies. We are made up of ladies from ages 21-102. Our group is a social club that gives back 90% of the money we raise back to the community!

The Italian- American Cultural Center Construction Groundbreaking
The Italian - American Cultural Center of Iowa kicked off construction! Iawi IA came out to support the Italian Community!
City leaders in Des Moines have initiated the construction of the Italian-American Culture Center, set to open in 2026, celebrating the contributions of Italian immigrants to Iowa.
Christmas Party at Blank Golf Course
Our Christmas party was held in January due to icy weather conditions in December. We had a wonderful time listening to the entertainment from Gina Gedler! We have 60+ attendees for the event!
